This is true for both the artist and the beholder, to find beauty amidst the conflict, to see the light in the darkness. My Paintings, etchings, and prints are an exploration, a meditative process, inspired by a world filled with light, color, movement and grace. Creating brings me connection to my true self, a vision I wish to share with all through my work.
My artistic vision is to help others feel the world as I feel it, filled with healing grace, beauty and energy. I share my vision through my work to inspire others to seek healing, joy, and a sense of self.
My work is authentic and true, reflecting a synthesis of the 5 elements; water, earth, air, fire, & ether. With a formal education in pure mathematics, I am drawn to the purity, depth, and abstraction, creating a deep artistic connection with the natural world around me. Observing the occurrence of patterns, shapes, sequences & symmetries, leaves us awe struct by the harmony & balance in nature.
My artistic process is always evolving. As a college student, I was inspired by the quote of John Dewey, "Education is not preparation for life; Education is life itself". This quote resonates in all aspects of my life. While working with numerous master artists throughout the years, I have discovered my own artistic voice.
My journey has been one of a life long learner and educator. My shared student mantra: ‘Knowledge is Power’. Always finding the creative process to be such a healing meditative process, my life calling has lead to connecting others to seek the abstract beauty of life, mathematics and the arts, while inspiring them to become lifelong seekers of knowledge.
