Gyotaku:

The name comes from Japanese "gyo" (fish) and "taku" (rubbing), and while it started as a practical way to record catches, it's evolved into a recognized art form. Traditionally a Japanese art form where fishermen create detailed prints of their catch by inking a fish and pressing rice paper onto it. This often resulted in a realistic, reversed image of the fish. Now as an art form, added color and calligraphy commemorate the event for artistic expression.
